Contract: Permanent, Part Time
Start: As soon as possible
Hours: 35 hours per week between two sites:
St Francis Xavier Balby and St Mary’s Edlington
6:30am-10:00am and 2:00pm-5:30pm
The children, staff and governors of our schools would like to appoint a Premises Assistant to join our team.
Requirements:-
- Supports the vision and values of the school
- Good communication skills
- Understand and commitment to working within Health & Safety legislation
- Be willing to undertake any training required
- Be willing to cover the Site Supervisor role
- Be flexible in their approach to work
- Experience of general maintenance and DIY
- Be a team player with the ability to work individually using their own initiative
- Undertake some cleaning tasks
- Be able to follow instructions and direction
- Can undertake duties to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance and tidiness of the building and outdoor area
- Open the building, ensure the safety of the area for staff and pupils
- Some general gardening duties to be undertaken on a regular basis
- Be able to operate machinery, including tools
The post will require the ability to undertake physical tasks, manual handling, work at heights and lone working.
