Warehouse Driver/ Warehouse assistant
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful applicant will be making multi drop delvieries & undertaking our VMI stock management process at customer sites at various locations ( within 40 miles of Poole) the sucessful aplicant must also take an active role in all warehouse functions. Including (but not limited to) picking, packing, kitting, despatch & stock management when required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Loading vehicles ( Transit size & smaller)
- Writing up daily delivery schedule
- Delivering parcels to the local area ( 40mile rough radius)
- Replenishing customers stock - where required
-Scanning barcodes for goods that need to be re-ordered
· Picking, packing & checking orders from picking notes. Creating delivery notes
· Preparing & making kits from BOM’s.
. Assisting the Goods inwards team
· Stock location maintenance & efficient stock management.
· Liaising with other departments & ensuring work is carried out promptly, correctly & efficiently.
Full clean UK driving license essential
Working hours are 8am Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30 Friday
