Motor Claims Fraud Investigator

A bit about the job:
As a Motor Claims Fraud Investigator, you will play a critical role in protecting genuine customers and the business by investigating potentially fraudulent claims. From the moment a fraud concern is identified, you will manage the case through to its conclusion, whether clearing the claim or repudiating it. The primary focus will be on motor-related claims, but you’ll also encounter various types of fraud.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers, third parties, and suppliers to gather evidence, managing your own caseload, and ensuring fair and effective resolutions. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values initiative, communication, and delivering results.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of fraud investigations and potential outcomes.
- Experience in insurance claims handling or fraud prevention.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to manage challenging conversations with customers.
- Proven ability to manage personal workload efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of UK legislation, including The Fraud Act 2006 is a plus.

- Salary – Circa £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
