About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our SISP Team (Specialist Intensive Support Programme ) as a Team Manager within a job share. In this role, you’ll be primarily working on managing the team and will have the opportunity to develop your skills with working alongside our experienced Team Manager already in place .
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
The Specialist Intensive Support Programme (SISP) A Systemic Approach to working with children and families SISP is long established standalone multidisciplinary team having provided a wide range of services to children and their families in the London Borough of Hounslow for over ten years. It is positioned within Children’s Specialist Services.
The team offers specialist interventions to families by undertaking independent parenting assessments court directed or under pre proceedings, psychological assessments, parenting support and therapeutic services led by the team’s highly specialist systemic family therapist.
The team includes a range of evidence-based practices and disciplines, including Parent Assess assessments, Together and Apart Assessment, child and adult psychology, systemic family psychotherapy and social work.

- To ensure the SISP Team delivers high-quality services for children at risk of harm, children in need and children in care, in accordance with legal requirements, government initiatives and the council’s policies and procedures.
- Manages a range of assessments, Family Group Conferences, LAC prevention and rehabilitation services provided by the SISP Team for all children referred to the service and who are in need, at risk of significant harm, edge of care and/or have a plan of reunification with their family.
- To work with a range of professionals, the legal team, and others to ensure high quality and evidence-based court assessments.
- To assist and support the Head of Service in managing the delivery of excellent childcare practice through the effective management and supervision of a multi-disciplinary professional team.
Essential for the Role
- Recognised Social Work Qualification.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS check is required for the role.
