Job Description
A young lady in her 20’s is looking for a kind, bubbly, sociable and active person to support her throughout the day and night whilst providing companionship. She has impaired vision, her communication skills are basic, although her understanding is fairly good, particularly familiar with her routine and activities. She has low immunity and limited mobility so will require extra caution with her daily tasks.
We are looking for Care Professionals who can be reliable, patient, proactive and able deal with challenging behaviours.
You will be part of a team of Care Professionals located in Stanmore.

Hours Of Work - During Term Time
Mon- Thurs 4:30pm - 7:30 pm – 2 carers
Fri 9.00am – 7.00pm - 2 carers
Sat & Sun 10.00am – 7.00pm - 2 carers
Hours Of Work - During Non-Term Time
Mon - Fri 9.00am – 7.00pm - 2 carers
These hours could vary slightly and may be subject to change during non term time.
Qualifications
This is an exciting role with great satisfaction for the right person.
You will be given full training to complete this role to the best of your ability but have some experience would be beneficial.
As a Care Professional working with this lovely lady, you will have some experience of working with complex care and multiple needs such as:
- Epilepsy care / seizure management
- Patience towards non-verbal communication
- Limited Mobility
- Impaired Vision
- Hole in the heart
- Liquidised diet only
Required: Positive attitude towards disabilities and special needs
This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure.
