Home Instead is the UK’s most recommended home care provider on homecare.co.uk, where we are proud to be rated 9.9/10 and rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission. We are the only home care company in the South Lakes to only do MINIMUM one-hour visits only so you won’t ever need to rush, and you will have the time to build relationships with your clients and have the time to spend doing all those ‘little’ things that will make your clients smile. It also means you will always be paid for the full hour! We pay up to £16.50 per hour. We also recognise that you can spend a lot of time travelling from visit to visit on our behalf, so there are times when you could ‘lose’ 15 or 30 minutes, as you leave one client and head to another, so we also give a travel time allowance of £13.50 per hour PLUS mileage.
Our Care Professionals come from all manner of professions, including retail, beauty, hospitality but also those who are continuing their career in care. We offer you the best training with our Registered nurse at £13.50 per hour, such as the City and Guilds Dementia and End of Life courses, Parkinson’s and Frailty Training. We also fund Level 2, Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications for those that want to do them. On top of this we give you £250 anniversary and referral bonuses.
You will be travelling throughout our community in Milnthorpe and surrounding areas such as Holme, Arnside, Burton-in-Kendal, and Carnforth, treating your clients as you would your own loved ones. You could be helping with personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, all to ensure you clients are comfortable and safe to enable them to stay independent in their own homes.

Job Description
