“I worked as a teaching assistant for over 20 years. I loved the work but knew that I needed a change for the last 10 years of my career. I now work with such kind and considerate people, and each day the clients make me smile. I love this role and would definitely recommend enquiring if you are interested in a rewarding career!" Kath, Care Professional

Job Description
So, what's the job really about?
Well, imagine popping by to help Mrs. Smith start her day. One moment you're assisting her out of bed and helping her choose an outfit, and the next, you're sharing a cuppa and a natter as she enjoys her breakfast. Later, you might be off to Mr. Jones' to make sure he's got his medication sorted and a hot meal on the table.
But here's the special bit. You're not just a helper; you're a lifeline, a listener, and often, a good laugh! Our visits are never less than an hour, so you truly have the time to care. You ensure all of your clients are comfortable and safe to enable them to stay independent in their own homes.
We are rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission and 9.9/10 by all our lovely clients on homecare.co.uk, where we have over 60 reviews and a WorkBuzz 5 Star Employer!
Interested in training? Home Instead is a step above the rest. You don’t need to have worked in care before as we ensure you're supported at every stage of your journey with us. In the independent WorkBuzz survey 100% of our Care Professionals said they have access to the training they need to do their job well!
