Job Description
We are recruiting for 2 ambitious, driven and caring Senior Care Professionals for our successful office. Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington delivers exceptional quality, trusted care and support to adults living in the comfort of their own home.
As a Senior Care Professional, you will be expected to promote all Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington’s core values and beliefs in every aspect of your role, from working with our fantastic clients to mentoring our Care Professionals.
This full time role, will require full availability between 7am and 10pm on the days that you work, up to 39 hours a week. Overtime may be available.
The 2 roles are as follows:
Role 1: week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
week 2 Tuesday, Thursday Saturday & Sunday
Role 2: week 1 Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Delivering the highest quality care and support to our amazing clients
- Working with other members of the team to ensure client satisfaction at all times
- Seeking feedback from our clients and their families and recognising and celebrating the success of those involved in their care
- Carrying out client introductions, competencies and identifying additional training needs and provide mentoring and support to care professionals, as required
- Maintaining and reviewing clear, timely records such as activity logs, MAR charts and care plans and alerting the Registered Manager to any issues that may cause concern
- Reporting to management on changes to care requirements and employee training needs
- Working to maintain strong communication with the care delivery team
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure our clients’ needs and desired outcomes are met.
- Gathering and sharing best practice with peers and the wider team
- Taking an active part in monthly team meetings, sharing ideas and suggestions to improving our service
- Ensure a thorough knowledge, understanding and adherence to all company policies and procedures in line with CQC regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Ideally a minimum of one year’s experience of working within a health and social care setting but we will consider you if you do not have this but can demonstrate that you share our values and have what it takes to be successful with the right training
- Hold a level 2 QCF or equivalent in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards this
- Experience of promoting wellbeing through a positive attitude and work ethic
- Ability to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering excellent care
- Able to demonstrate good organisational and leadership skills
- As you will be out and about supporting clients and care professionals you must hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
