The ‘Home Instead Way’ includes personalised one-to- one care, visits at a minimum of an hour and an optimistic outlook on age. Responsibilities:
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here’s what you could be doing:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Qualifications
Essential:
A passion for caring and a desire to make a difference, helping people live their best life.
Hold a current UK full driving licence and have access to use of a car.
