Cover Supervisors Required in Burton-upon-Trent

Pay: £75 - £90 per day (dependent on experience)

About The Role
The Supply Register is recruiting Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers for schools in Burton-upon-Trent, in partnership with John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust. This is a great opportunity to gain classroom experience, particularly if you're considering a teaching career. We are looking for flexible, motivated Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers for various assignments across multiple schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Classes: Manage and engage students in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Deliver Lessons: Follow lesson plans as a Cover Teacher, ensuring students complete their work.
- Behavior Management: Implement school policies and manage classroom behavior.
- Support Learning: Assist students as needed and ensure they stay on task.
- Administrative Duties: Record attendance and report any issues to the school office.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience with Children and strong classroom management skills.
- Good Communication Skills and the ability to adapt to different subject areas.
- Interest in Teaching is desirable.
