Delegated Underwriting Authority Auditor – Salary circa £100,000

Do you have expert knowledge within London Markets and/or Lloyds about delegated underwriting authorities? If the answer is ‘yes’, then we would love to hear from you!
This is an excellent opportunity for an International Delegated Underwriting Authority Auditor to join our Risk & Governance team, to conduct Delegated Underwriting Scheme audits (remotely and onsite) and provide holistic risk and control challenge, guidance, and support.
A bit about the job:
Assist the Senior Underwriting Assurance Manager in the planning, scoping, and delivering of external audits and maintaining the International Audit methodology/framework.
A good knowledge of Global, Corporate and Specialty Lines International business is essential and as well as assurance testing to allow the role holder to drive change and support the business in developing appropriate solutions.
You will have the opportunity to both lead in activities including, information gathering and analysis, report writing, handling the resolution of actions, regulatory interpretation, and to work sustainably to embed risk management across the business.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- In-depth knowledge of the UK General Insurance Global, Corporate and Specialty Lines International business and underwriting, including the risk & control environment, strategic, operational, conduct and regulatory matters. Knowledge of London Markets is strongly preferred.
- An ‘outcomes’ focus with direct experience of understanding complex risks and processes, applying risk-based assurance, control testing and methodology, and a good knowledge of the three lines of defence model.
- Excellent relationship/stakeholder management skills and are comfortable being challenging, being persuasive with energy, enthusiasm, and resilience.
- Self-starter and disciplined with proactive planning and organisational skills and the agility to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong report writing skills.

- Salary circa £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
