We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Family Hub team!
Our Family Hubs are a local support centre for families with children and young people aged 0-19 years, (aged 25 with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)).
They are a place:
- to get help, information, advice, guidance and support to overcome difficulties and build stronger relationships.
- that provides a multiagency offer that can be accessed face to face or virtually.
You'll be based at our East Staffs Family Hub: 7 hours a week, between 9.00am - 5.00pm. Details will be discussed at interview.
Main Responsibilities
You will provide excellent customer care and a professional reception service, meeting and welcoming families, children and young people ( 0-19 years) into our Family Hubs.
You'll also be:
- managing incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries about services
- registering new service users and signposting to relevant activities and provision within the district
- data inputting
- providing information, advice and guidance
The Ideal Candidate
You'll have:
- good organisational skills and experience of using a wide range of IT systems including MS Office
- good communication skills because you’ll interact with lots of people on the phone, in person and by email
- a flexible approach to work as sometimes things can change, and so you’ll need to be able to prioritise work and sometimes change tasks quickly
- a passion to always give the best service
