Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen operations. As a crucial part of our back-of-house team, you’ll keep our kitchen clean and organised to make sure everything runs smoothly during service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Collect and wash up pots and pans from the kitchen.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the dry store areas organised.
- Ensure the refrigerator is clean and organised.
- Remove waste and recycling throughout shifts.
- Support the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks.
Requirements:
- No previous experience required, as full training will be provided.
- Good physical health, as the role involves a lot of standing, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
