We are looking for a friendly and approachable team player to join the Nutrition and Dietetic Department, working 30 hours per week supporting Acute and Community Dietetic Teams to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of the Dietetic Service at Amersham Hospital and Wycombe Hospital.
This post will provide administrative support including outpatient clinic booking, data collection and resource development..
You will have experience of working with the public, have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated. You will have good communication skills and a professional and caring manner, as well as a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
This post will close on the closing date stated at midnight. If we receive a large number of applications or there is a change in circumstance, we may be required to close the job before to the closing date.
- The post holder will support the work of the Acute and Community Dietetic Teams to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of the Dietetic Service. This includes administrative tasks, data collection and resource development.
- To carry out a range of administrative tasks as required by the Acute and Community Dietetic Service. Uploading referrals in a timely manner; directing patients to the most appropriate care pathway within the service e.g. general dietetics, or Specialist services or home visits/ outpatient clinics or group sessions; communicating with patients to book appointments and sending dietetic resources; supporting the management of inappropriate referrals by contacting referrers and signposting patients with dietetic supervision; outcoming clinics and supporting the dietitian with other clinic related admin.
- To use a range of IT systems, including a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint to record activities and caseload. Electronic filing and maintaining of patient documentation
