Job Title: Anatomical Pathology Technician

Pay Rates: Band 4 13.5 per hour Band 5 15.25 per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00

What you can add:
- Liaising with Trust colleagues, HM Coroner, Undertakers and other external agencies to provide a caring, compassionate mortuary service.
- If at a band 5 level you will be expected supervise all junior and trainee staff, providing guidance and support in all aspects of the role.
- Engage in mortuary work which includes “high risk” and forensic Post Mortems.
What you’ll need:
- Post Level 3 qualification experience in the Mortuary and Post Mortem room.
- AAPT Consent training
- Experience with all types of Post Mortem examination, including high risk.
- Hands on experience with forensic PM cases.
- Experience preparing deceased patients up for viewing.
- Experience with bereaved families.
