We have a part-time vacancy for an individual primarily working in our health records and scanning and and clinic prep areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who relishes a challenge, is keen to work in a developing department and adaptable to new ways of working. You must enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team, commit to work in a team driven environment, with an enthusiastic and conscientious approach, complemented by excellent organisational and communications skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Applicants must be able to partake in rotations (including Saturday, bank holiday and Christmas rotas) and cover colleagues during planned and unplanned leave.
Role is based in the scanning and health records team
Patient documents are managed and scanned in accordance with Trust and departmental policies and procedures.
To ensure that all patients notes and scanned documents are available for patient clinic attendances and admissions
The patient administration system is kept up-to-date for notes tracking purposes.
Answering telephone, email and system requests and dealing with queries

Be fit and able bodied in order to lift heavy files, climb ladders and go to wards, out-patients, office, etc throughout the working day
Demonstrate being able to work well within a team
Demonstrate working in an busy multi-tasking environment
Able to remain calm under pressure
Committed to undertake training outside of working hours and to fulfil the requirements of the role
