Being a Seasonal Sales Assistant at St Wilfrid’s
We are looking for Seasonal Sales Assistants to join our Retail team on fixed term contracts to help provide an excellent shopping experience to our customers and supporters throughout the busy festive period. Please note, this type of role requires travel to all of our retail locations based on business demands.
The successful candidates will have strong customer service and sales skills, and enjoy meeting our supporters. You will provide support to the Shop Managers in every aspect of the day-to-day running of the shop, including:
- Welcoming customers and supporters and receiving donations as appropriate
- Researching, pricing and merchandising our donations
- Optimising income generation and minimising waste by ensuring our sales floor remains fully stocked
- Maintaining the busy sales floor to an excellent standard, ensuring a clean, safe and tidy environment
- Ensuring that all till operations, EPOS and cash handling procedures and transactions are followed accurately and efficiently, including daily security records and Gift Aid registration
Being a Sales Assistant at St Wilfrid’s will include:
- Regular Weekend and Bank Holiday working
- Key holding and shop opening/closing responsibilities
- Manual handling, assisting with stock rotation and cleaning duties
- Cash handling responsibilities

Interview Information

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £11.44-£11.71 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week
