We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van for the delivery of goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in the organisation of warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is essential.
Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with the role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and customers effectively.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required.
