The housekeeping team work to cleaning schedules which are audited by an external party. You will work in accordance to the NHS Cleanliness Standards and detailed Cleaning Schedules.

Duties are noted in detail in the Daily Cleaning Schedules and include, for example,

Disarming the building and unlocking the internal doors
Hoover, damp dust, wipe skirting boards, cupboards, handles, frames and cob-web all rooms and corridors in the Collingham Medical Centre.
Clean all toilets, sinks and kitchens (inc. meeting room and staff room).
Clear and mop all appropriate floorings.
Ensure appropriate stock levels of the cleaning consumables
Empty all bins (confidential, recycling and general waste)
Waiting Room – Wash down chairs, play area and marks on walls
Clean foot well housing to front door mat

Miscellaneous

To actively participate in any training offered, and take personal responsibility for ensuring that your skills are relevant to your job roleand to attend, where possible and where falls on your normal working day, staff meetings as organised by your line manager where these are relevant to your job role
To perform other non-specified roles commensurate to that of a Housekeeper.
