About the Trust
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is the main provider of mental health and learning disability services in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and also provide community nursing and therapy services in Worcestershire. They provide services for people of all ages, across a range of settings, experiencing both physical and/or mental health conditions across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. They are the main providers of mental health and learning disability services in both counties, and also deliver community hospitals, neighbourhood teams and community nursing services across Worcestershire. They have over 40 locations within Hospitals and clinic environments.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Undertake administration duties that are specific to the role.
· Undertake general office duties, as required, e.g., typing, data inputting, filing, scanning/copying, in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
· Arrange, confirm patient appointments, and making appropriate arrangements required e.g. interpreter services.
· Provide a secretarial service to team/department meetings, including the preparation and distribution of agendas and papers.
· Answer/deal with both face-to-face and telephone enquiries.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
· Previous admin experience
· Previous NHS experience (desirable)
· Experience in Carenotes (desirable)
