37.5 hours per week – working 5 days from 7 including rotating weekends.
Band 2 - £12.08/hr (Weekdays), £17.03/hr (Saturdays) & £22.10/hr (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
Temporary placement up to 6 weeks in length to provide sickness cover.

GMMH are looking for a Catering Assistant at the Royal Bolton Hospital. This role requires all applicants to have a food hygiene level 2 certificate and understand essential allergen information.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Food service to patients on the wards.
· Some cleaning of food areas.
· Responsible for the safe use of kitchen equipment.
· To complete any other tasks as directed by the line manager.
· Safe preparation of meals and drinks
· Washing the returning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery
· Any general cleaning that is needed.
The skills required are
· Minimum of food hygiene certificate (level 2).
· Working knowledge of COSHH, allergen awareness and safe health & safety practises in the workplace.
· Good communication skills as sometimes patient facing while serving.
· NHS experience (desirable but not essential).
· This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
