Sales Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join our busy team of sales and admin professionals in our Aggregates division. You’ll be working a 16-hour week, Thursday and Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and will be based at our Maltby office.
So what’s the role?
Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader, you’ll be working within a small team where you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers by either telephone or email and will ensure they receive a world-class customer experience whilst representing the Marshalls brand with pride! You will respond to customer queries and process orders in a timely and efficient manner whilst recognising sales opportunities and maximising margins.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders from, sales teams, customers and hauliers. You’ll develop strong relationships with our customers and hauliers ensuring repeat business whilst maximising efficiencies and minimising complaints. You will also help organise third-party haulage and work with our weighbridge team to help schedule deliveries, providing break and ad-hoc holiday cover, as required.

What skills do you need to bring with you?
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is preferred although full training will be given.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- An ability to develop and sustain excellent customer relationships.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
