As a Senior Front End Engineer at Flooid you will be a key and integral part of the Front End team. In this role you will be at the forefront of our product development, delivering the next generation of POS software to our customers.
You will use your technical expertise to support product development, you will play an influential part in the Front End strategy and you will support other members of the Front End guild in their careers.
Your normal week will include:
- Getting hands-on by developing, enhancing, testing and implementing our product
- Working collaboratively with our global teams
- Supporting team upskilling
Flexible working is highly encouraged with a remote first nature to the role. Team meet-ups will be expected in Birmingham.
Technical Skills/Experience
We are looking for:
- Expertise in the full software development lifecycle, Agile, and SDLC practices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, Node, Cypress or Playwright, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Java and API development preferred.
- Understanding of Micro Front End, including experience performance tuning Front End application and analysing complicated Front End issues.
- Experience in Micro Front End architecture preferred.
- Experience in Cloud architectures and Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), GCP preferred.
- Experience supporting commercial applications/systems desirable.
- Understanding Chromium and Webkit desirable.
