At Age UK Hertfordshire we love older people and keep them at the heart of everything we do. We are a local charity and have many clients on our waiting lists, ready to match with their next home care supports (no personal care).
We pay £12.12 per hour PLUS paid holiday pay. We pay £12.60 if you live more than 5 miles from your clients home address.
- Work is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30pm.
- No evening or weekend working.
What will you do?
- You will work on your own, in the private homes of older people in your local area.
- The work involves cleaning and shopping
- Changing bedlinen and helping with the laundry.
- You always see the same regular clients, allowing you to become that vital contact that keeps them independent and living in their own home.

You will need to be…
- Caring and honest with good common sense
- Reliable and able to work on your own initiative
- You don’t need to have been a cleaner before as you we will give you all the training you need prior to starting.
- A car driver and have a full driving licence and access to own transport
