We are looking for an experienced Driver/Valeter to join our Hendy Jaguar Land Rover team based in Southampton. Our Driver/Valeters ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction are delivered at all times.
The Opportunity:
- Organising the timely collection and delivery of customer vehicles for service or repair, moving vehicles between the compound, showroom and workshop operations;
- Keeping all vehicles well maintained, cleaned and prepared ready to be returned to our customers or for display in the showroom (including washing and vacuuming);
- Ensuring all vehicles displayed on site are lined up and priced;
- Working alongside the Vehicle Progress Chaser on site, to assist with identifying maintenance and body work required;
- Notifying the Service team of any customer issues or problems with dealership vehicles (e.g. courtesy cars), and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the required standard;
- Ensuring any additional service or repair requirements identified by the customer are passed on to the Service team;
- Supporting the Service and Sales teams to achieve their objectives and working with colleagues across the dealership to investigate and resolve customer complaints.

About You:
- Full UK driving licence, good knowledge of the local geographical area and previous driver/valeter experience.
- An aptitude for building positive customer relationships - you will enjoy working in a team and supporting colleagues wherever possible;
- Effective communication skills;
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise;
- Manual handling experience;
- A good level of fitness to be on the move and on your feet most of the day - you will enjoy walking and being outdoors.
