Aspire people are looking for SEND teaching assistants in Burton-Upon-Trent.
We are looking for a dedicated professional that has experience working with SEND students, that would be able to support in both mainstream, and SEND schools.
Position: Temporary and day-to-day support with the potential of full time/permanent positions in the future
Location: Primary and SEND schools in Burton
Rate: 90.00 - 95.00
Experience: Must have UK based experience working with children, ideally in an education setting
Experience working with Social, emotional and Mental health needs (SEMH) and other Special educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Availability: Flexible day to day working, possibility of regular full and part time work
What Does The Role Involve
No two children are the same, so being a SEND TA requires flexibility and strong communication skills. This role is supporting children that may have complex and challenging behaviours.
The role requires attention to detail, patience and a non-judgemental approach, and it is important to be resilient and passionate about supporting each child's needs.
