We are a Local Authority School and work closely as a positive and supportive staff team alongside our parents and community. An important element of our school is to use the outdoor environment at every opportunity, to enhance and enrich our curriculum. We also believe that all children should become fluent, confident and enthusiastic readers whilst at our school. We are committed to developing the personal and social skills of all our children and offer therapeutic interventions to those who need them. These three ‘golden threads’ of reading, outdoor learning and personal development are woven through our planning and practice at every opportunity.
We have an exciting and forward-thinking approach to behaviour in school and all staff effectively use our relational behaviour policy, which makes a very happy and calm environment to learn and work.
