Job Title: HR Systems Helpdesk Advisor
Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
Trust Location: Nottingham City Hospital (NG5 1PB)
What you’ll be responsible for:
1. Assist in the administration of HR Systems including:
a. Verifying data accuracy/ cleansing of HR systems data.
b. Evaluating routine and occasionally complex data. E.g. assisting in roster planning and administration.
c. Maintaining complex data structures with the HR Systems. E.g. ESR supervisor hierarchy, e-Rostering team structure, e-expenses authorisation structure, etc.
2. Act as first point of contact for all HR Systems Helpdesk Team queries.
a. Resolve basic user queries where possible by:
3. Querying and providing HR Systems data (subject to authority to share data)
4. Liaising with third parties (such as external service providers) to identify a resolution
a. Triage complex user queries to the relevant HR Systems Helpdesk Analyst for resolution.
5. Whilst the post is responsible to the HR Systems Helpdesk Manager, there is a degree of autonomy, as assigned tasks are usually seen through to completion with little or no supervision and the post holder will address user queries to the best of their knowledge.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
· Communications skills- both verbal and written
· Excellent telephone manner
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
· Previous HR experience
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
