Job Title: SQL BI Developer
Location: Kao Park Offices (Building 2, First Floor), London Road, Harlow, CM17 9NA
Trust: The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT).
Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full-time, Monday to Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, totaling 37.5 working hours per week. (This role offers hybrid flexibility 1 day in the office preferably Wednesday rest 4 days from home)
Pay Rate: £26/hr. + 25 days per year pro rata holiday pay (worth ~£3.38/hr.) ==> £29.38/hr.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Intelligence Developer will assist the Head of Business Intelligence in managing all aspects of report and dashboard development for the Princess Alexandra Hospital’s BI system. This role involves designing and developing reports and dashboards according to customer and internal requirements, maintaining high quality through an assurance process, and supporting the development of the PAH BI solution.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with QlikSense, Microsoft SQL Server
- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS - desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in delivering a high-quality, responsive BI development service.
- Work with information colleagues and customers to deliver scalable reporting services.
- Support the Head of BI in implementing a culture of customer service and continual improvement.
- Assist in the design and build of the reporting architecture for the PAH BI solution.
- Develop reports in an agile manner, ensuring efficiency and best practices.
- Deliver training to PAH staff on BI tools.
Degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent work experience.
