Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Crossgate House, Cross Street, Sale, M33 7FT
Hours: 30 Hours (Temporary for 2 months potentially extending to 3 months)

What you’ll be responsible for:
· Manage all telephone calls for the area of responsibilities and direct calls appropriately in a professional manner.
· Responsibility for directly receiving service users, checking all patients’ demographic details are complete.
· Maintain records of referrals and discharges for statistical purposes and enter onto Paris computerised system accurately and timely.
· Maintaining filing systems that are appropriate to the needs of the service.
· Manage the clinic room bookings and maintain booking grids including re-arranging, cancelling and rebooking appointments and effectively communicating these changes.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· An excellent telephone manner.
· Outstanding communication skills.
· The ability to navigate IT systems, Inc. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· A caring and sensitive attitude when communicating with staff and patients.
· System knowledge of Paris is desirable.
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
