We're looking for a Care Assistant to join our team. This is not your ordinary job. You'll be part-nurse, part-comedian, part-miracle-worker, and all-around superhero.
Your duties will include everything from helping our clients with daily activities to cracking jokes and cheering them up. We're looking for someone who is patient, kind, and can handle anything life throws their way (including the occasional flying walker or spilled cup of tea).

Hours of work
You need to be available 5 out of 7 days every week, and able to work the AM or PM shifts plus alternate weekends. Shifts are either 4 or 8 hours and you will receive your rota 2 weeks in advance so that you can plan your life.
Our client visits are a minimum of one-hour to ensure the call isn’t rushed and is enjoyable for both you and the client. You will always be introduced to your client and/or shadow another worker until you are comfortable and confident to work alone. There is 24/7 out-of-hours support from the Care Management team.
Hourly Pay
Monday to Friday 8am – 9am premium rate £15
Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm basic rate £13
All Evenings (after 6pm) premium rate £17
Weekends 8am – 6pm premium rate £15
Paid mileage between clients at 45p per mile
Paid travel time between client visits at £10.42 per hour
Paid training at £10.42 per hour

You need to be over 18, have a valid driving licence and own car, have good English skills, and a kind, reliable nature.
Experience in a care setting would be beneficial but is not essential as full training, mentoring and support will be provided.
