Home Instead Cannock and Burntwood is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Care Professionals. As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing companionship, home help, and personal care to older people within their homes.
Home Instead Cannock and Burntwood covers Cannock, Burntwood, Rugeley, Heath Hayes, Norton Canes, Penkridge, Essington and the surrounds. We were established in 2010 and have an outstanding CQC rating.

Job Description
Care Assistant Benefits:
- Excellent pay rates - from £12.10 to £12.50 per hour, double time bank holiday enhanced rates.
- Types of hours available - From 16hrs to 35+ hours available.
- Minimum 1 hour calls– so you have the time needed with the client.
- Area - visits based in one post-code area so less travel for care professionals.
- Employee referral bonus programme - £150 bonus scheme when you refer a friend and they complete their probation period.
- Mileage -0.33p per mile after the first 10.

Care Assistant responsibilities:
Being a companion is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.
Duties can include:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Qualifications
No qualifications are needed. Care experience is welcomed but not essential.
