Why are we providing this incentive?
We have had unrivalled enquires from potential Clients wanting CAREGivers to support them to stay independent at home. This may have something to do with our recent TV sponsorship with Alan Titchmarsh's gardening programme!
We are looking for caring and compassionate people to become part of our expanding team to help the Older Adults, within B74 and B75 postcode area, to retain their choice and control over how and where they want to live. To help them start their day by supporting them with their morning routine, breakfast and if required medication. Or perhaps ensure that the Client is supported with their evening routine to ensure they have safely gone to bed.
CAREGivers work part time, mornings or evenings and most definitely alternate weekends. This role can be fitted around your own commitments.
Our CAREGivers are matched to the Clients and then visit them consistently allowing CAREGivers to see the difference they are making to their lives.
Our CAREGivers visit a Client for a minimum of 1 hour or more……………we do not do 15 minute calls or even half hour calls.
Our CAREGivers travel locally (within 15 minutes of own postcode) to visit their Clients. We work with Clients within their own homes. You will therefore need a car to travel from one Clients home to another Clients home.

What CAREGivers can expect from Home Instead;
· CAREGiving hourly rate up to £15.75 per hour
· Waiting and travel time £8.91 per hour
· Mileage paid at 23p per mile

*To qualify for the £400 payment CAREGivers must have worked a minimum of 40 hours. If a Caregiver terminates within 6 months of payment, the £400 will be required to be paid back. CAREGivers will be paid minimum wage until they have completed their Care Certificate, up to a maximum 12 weeks period. Once the Care Certificate is attained, the hourly CARE Giving rate will be £10.40.
