Job Description
We are recruiting care staff to join our teams based in Down & Lisburn and Ards & North Down whether you have many years experience or are looking to join the sector for the first time, we have training courses in place to suit everyone, providing development opportunities to excel within a career in care.
- Permanent Contracts 16 to 35+ hours per week.
- Full Time is only 3.5 days a week!
- Part time is 3 or 4 evenings OR mornings per week
- Work life balance with every second weekend off
- £12 - £12.50 per hour + 35/40p per mile
Shift patterns:
Rolling rota to enable a good work/life balance.
Week 1
Monday 8am to 10pm (with break)
Tuesday: 8am to 3:15pm
Saturday: 8am to 10pm (with break)
Sunday: 8am to 10pm (with break)
Week 2:
Tuesday: 4:30pm to 10pm
Wednesday: 8am to 10pm (with break)
Thursday: 8am to 10pm (with break)
Friday: 8am to 10pm (with break)
Part time also available on the shift pattern, just choose either Early or backshift.

Responsibilities:
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here’s what you could be doing:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Qualifications
Essential:
A passion for caring and a desire to make a difference, helping people live their best life.
Hold a current UK full driving licence and have access to use of a car
