Job Description
Home Instead is expanding its fantastic care team and is seeking caring, compassionate Care Professionals to help with elderly care and to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.
We currently have flexible roles available. From as little as a day a week upwards! We're looking for care professionals who may already have experience or those without experience who want to become care professionals.
We offer "Award-Winning, Paid Comprehensive Induction Training" and ongoing professional support—you are never alone with Home Instead!
Various work patterns - 7 am 2 pm, 8 am - 3 pm, 9 am - 5 pm, 12 noon - 7 pm, 3 pm - 9.30 pm.
At Home Instead, we really appreciate our Care Professionals and offer the following pay and benefits:
- £12.25 per hour Monday to Friday 7 AM - 5.30 PM
- £12.75 per hour Monday to Friday 5.30 PM - 10 PM
- £13.75 per hour on Saturdays & Sundays
- £24.50 per hour on Bank Holidays
- Paid Travel & Wait Time in between visits - In addition to the hourly rate!
- Mileage paid at 35 pence per mile in between visits

Being a Care Professional means you need to be adaptable, and personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:
- Companionship
- Helping with personal care
- Helping with mobility around the home
- Overseeing medication and providing support
- Helping with housework such as light cleaning, laundry and ironing etc
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Helping with errands such as food shopping, assisting clients to attend appointments or picking up prescriptions
Qualifications
Ideally, applicants will have a Valid UK Driving License (with access to a vehicle for work purposes) applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK. We unfortunately do not offer sponsorship.
