Job Description
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team inMid-Devonas a live-in CAREGiver. As a live-in CAREGiver, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
This role requires previous experience in a care setting or similar role. Our ideal candidate has a passion for supporting others and delivering an outstanding service, as well as being reliable, trustworthy and respectful at all times. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable spending time in the company of others.
Hours are variable and assignments are scheduled on a 2 week on/2 week off basis. For each assignment you will be provided with a comfortable bedroom with reasonable amenities including a TV and WIFI.

Essential Criteria
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
- Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner
- Willingness to work and communicate professionally with Home Instead office teams and other social and health care professionals
- Respect for people suffering from a range of medical conditions with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
- Willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions
- Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and make common sense decisions at short notice
- Good hygiene practice
- A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred
