Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a resource base provision within a Primary School in Central East Birmingham.
The school is an OFSTED rated Good mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. They are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing SEN support staff who can develop good relationships with children with additional needs.
This is a part-time role to start in January 2025 and will continue for the rest of the academic year.
Previous experience working with special needs, challenging behaviour, and personal care assistance is essential - the ideal candidate will have previously worked in a SEN school setting or provision.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
· Previous experience working in a UK school - in either permanent or long-term roles
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
