Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an Experienced Dental Receptionist. The role will be to greet patients in to the practice, check in and make appointments using computer software Exact. Administrative duties including answering the phone, checking and replying to emails, changing appointments and taking payments. Dental experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a dental setting is desirable.
- Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills as the first point of contact for patients.
- High standard of personal presentation
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills including face to face, telephone, emails and social media.
- Demonstrates flexibility, working under pressure and problem solving.
- Being able to build strong relationships with the team members.
- Ability to use IT and operate a computer-based system
- Good knowledge of dental treatment would be desirable
What are the duties?
Welcoming patients into the practice, making it an enjoyable experience as possible.
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails and other social media correspondence such as What’s app, Facebook and Instagram
Efficient and accurate management of the patient diary, ensuring optimisation. This includes booking appointments, taking payments, handling referrals, recalls and amending diaries as required.
Professional team working.
Marketing, social media and website advertising and monitoring.
Working closely with the management team and reporting any issues.
Business Planning
Help with working towards agreed business objectives, and monitor achievements.
Work with all team members on the marketing plan
Maintain awareness of new developments and dental techniques, this may involve attending courses and/or training, and ensure that this information is relayed and understood by all team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent ( Minimum of 4 days a week)
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
