The children's directorate continues to grow and evolve in line with our changing population and localities.
We are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for enacting real change across localities and the school environment. This role will suit an experienced school practitioner who has a background in leadership of SEND and inclusion.
The successful candidate will work closely with schools to develop a strong range of provisions and interventions to ensure that children and young people who require additional support are happy and successful in their lives. The post will involve developing the professional practice of SENCOs and offering support and challenge to school leadership teams to develop their work in this area. Candidates must be confident in using data, have a strong knowledge of related legislation and be able to influence and challenge at a high level.
