A busy family in the Kensington area seeks an After-school Nanny to help them in taking care of their two school-aged children. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. There should be no screen time for the children and must do creative activities that can take place at home or outdoors. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
Someone who could speak Italian or Spanish languages would be a bonus but someone who has a good level of English would also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, 29 hours per week and during school holidays from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Duties Include
- Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park
- Reading to and playing with the children
- Helping with homework
- Implementing daily routines
