A Part-time Nanny is needed by this fantastic family in Battersea, London to assist them in taking care of their charming toddler. The ideal candidate will have experience with preschool-aged children and a genuine passion for fostering meaningful relationships. Initially, the role will involve shared care, transitioning to sole charge as the child becomes more comfortable. The nanny should be willing to cook for the family when possible and assist with light housekeeping tasks related to all children, such as tidying up, laundry and maintaining clean spaces. Valuing kindness, flexibility, and an outgoing personality, the family is looking for someone who can provide a safe and stimulating environment. This long-term position offers opportunities for ongoing commitment, including potential holiday trips to their vacation home in West Sussex during school breaks. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus and the family can provide a small car if needed.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Duties Include
- Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
- Washing and bathing children
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park
- Reading to and playing with the children
- Helping with homework
- Implementing daily routines
- Cooking occasionally for all the family
- Light housekeeping related to the children
