Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive and nurturing environment? We are seeking a 0.5 SEN Teacher to join our lovely primary school in Hillingdon, which has a well-established SEN unit attached.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching to students with SEN, following individual education plans (IEPs) and creating inclusive learning experiences.

Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents to ensure each child’s needs are met.

Provide differentiated lessons and interventions to support a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting strategies as needed.

Contribute to creating a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters independence and self-confidence in all students.
The Ideal Candidate:

QTS is desirable but not essential

Strong understanding of various SEN needs and how to adapt teaching strategies to suit them.

A patient, compassionate, and creative approach to teaching, with a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and parents.
