Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Administrator at BAA Solicitors, based in Southend. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining interpersonal relationships, utilizing analytical skills, effective communication, and managing compliance-related tasks.
Job Role includes:
- Being aware of the relevant rules and how to abide by them to ensure that files are compliant.
- Maintaining the database and files, ensuring all paperwork is checked and up to date.
- Conducting and verifying DBS checks and other record checks.
- Maintaining mailbox
- Typing and managing various documents.
- Where applicable maintaining the records for clients and ensure files are up-to-date and all paperwork is in date, compliant and recorded effectively
- Booking and managing appointments.
- Answering phones, emails and walk in enquiries.
Qualifications

- Analytical Skills
- Experience in office administration or related field
- Knowledge of procedures and reporting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understand what documentation is required to maintain compliance.
- Be able to maintain files and online systems.
- Experience in the care sector is desired.
- Excellent Written and Verbal English skills.
- Be able to work to deadlines.
- The ability to track, trace and record documents.
This role will initially be part-time and is office based. It has the potential to go to a full time role for the right candidate
