An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced administrator to join our dynamic infection prevention team at Bradford
District Care Foundation Trust.
The post will support the Infection Prevention Lead Nurse and Infection Prevention Team. Duties will include maintaining and updating
databases, general typing and diary management.
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work. Excellent IT and typing skills and an
awareness of confidential issues is essential.
You will need to demonstrate good organisational skills, work well within a team yet also be able to work independently. Good
interpersonal skills and to be committed to providing a high standard of service.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting at management level, strong secretarial and administrative skills; in particular diary management, and use of Microsoft packages such as Word, Power point, Excel, Publisher and Outlook. Advanced
experience of using Excel and Publisher would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in organising and creating material for meetings and events, monitoring deadlines, and
general ability to be flexible to the needs of the Infection Prevention Team.
The successful candidate would benefit from experience in managing competing priorities and conflicting demands.
Good communication skills are essential. The post holder will liaise with external stakeholders and agencies as well as building strong
internal relationships with the clinical teams and other corporate departments.
