The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is excited to welcome two dedicated and service-oriented Catering Assistants to our catering team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service for our students, staff, and visitors, ensuring that our campus dining experience meets the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the catering unit, collaborating with the Catering Manager to meet demand while upholding quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving beverages and snacks to meet quality standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with Food Safety regulations.
- Minimising waste and documenting production accurately.
- Handling cash and completing stock checks according to college guidelines.
- Supporting special events as needed.

Please note this position is part-time and part year, and pay will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
