Job Title: After School Club Playworker
Start Date: ASAP
Location: The Piggott School (Charvil Primary School), Park Lane, Charvil, Reading RG10 9TR
Hours: 9 hours per week during term time (with the opportunity to work up to 40 hrs per week during our holiday clubs if desired)
Working Hours during Term Time:
x3 days a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays ONLY - 15.00 - 18.00 for After School Club
You can work up to 40 hrs per week during school holidays if desired:
Operational Hours during Holiday Clubs: Monday to Friday - Hours 8.30 - 17.30
Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Contracts Available: Term Time only or Fixed 52 week Permanent contract

Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more ensuring they are age-appropriate.
Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including signing in and out processes.
Provide refreshments for the children. So, what does it mean to be a JAG Playworker?
Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children in our care, from picking them up from school to safely delivering them back to their parents or caregivers.
Collaborate with the team to plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more.
Ensure all activities are age and skill-appropriate while prioritizing safety, including the proper use of equipment and space.
Provide refreshments for the kids while maintaining our high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies and keep all relevant documentation, including accident and incident forms, up to date and completed as needed.
Ensure proper sign-in and sign-out processes and procedures are followed for all children in our care.
Communicate professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools. • Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit.
Take the lead in championing health and safety, providing first aid where necessary.
Keep all information and documents related to the children in our care confidential and secure.
