Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires the ability to handle some heavy lifting, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to drive safely and efficiently, with a valid clean driving licence
- Experience with some heavy lifting and handling of goods is essential.
- A strong sense of responsibility and reliability in completing tasks on time.

Qualifications
- Valid driving license
- Previous experience as a delivery driver

Pay: £11.61-£12.83 per hour
