Volunteer Administrator - Social Prescribing Team
Lewes, East Sussex- (minimum 3 hours weekly)
Have you got a few hours to spare on a regular basis every week? We are looking for a Volunteer Administrator to support our Social Prescribing team within the local community, to help make a huge difference in the lives of older persons. We are looking for someone who can commit to help our team on a long term basis and who lives in the local Lewes area to work from our Lewes office every Monday or Wednesday or even on both of these days?
Reporting to: Social Prescribing Team Leader
PURPOSE OF THE POST:
As a Volunteer Administrator with the Social Prescribing Team, you’ll undertake a variety of day-to-day administrative activities using Microsoft Word and Excel, and also ensure the Social Prescribers have their required printed materials. You’ll also be telephoning our Social Prescribing clients to obtain feedback on the services received. We’ll provide all the training and support that you need.
Administration
1. Phoning clients to complete feedback forms on the service received, or other data capture
2. To undertake accurate and timely data inputting to Word and Excel documents and to our Charity Log system.
3. To liaise with the team of Social Prescribers to ensure their needs for printed resources are met.
4. To help keep the Lewes office tidy and well organised, and to ensure the team know what resources are available there and where they are stored.
5. To undertake postage/handover of resources, scanning and photocopying, and shredding of appropriate documents.
6. To support the Social Prescribing Team Administrator as required on any other aspects of the day-to-day administration required by the Social Prescribing Team.
OTHER:
1. To undertake relevant training as required by the organisation and agreed with your line manager.
2. To be an Ambassador for the Charity, positively always promoting the organisation and its services.
