An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer care skills to join our Into Work Advice Service Team.
The successful applicants will be part of our Multiply Project, which is part of the Into Work Pathway Team. Multiply Project aims to support hard to reach citizens to upskill, with a focus on increasing numeracy skills as part of a UK wide scheme.
The Pathway Team includes our Adult Learning provision, Digital Support Service and Volunteer Cardiff programme. Multiply Project will work alongside the current provision to add value and accreditation wherever possible.
About the job
The Multiply Training Officers will deliver a wide range of accredited and non-accredited across Cardiff to hard-to-reach groups / individuals and those with no qualifications.
The role will involve developing and implementing new training materials, and identifying new training that would develop and improve current provision.
The Multiply Training Officers will work closely with our Quality & Performance team to ensure accreditation standards are maintained, reporting mechanisms are accurately followed, and accreditation is achieved wherever possible.
You will need to co-ordinate the administration required by examining bodies and external funding providers to meet Quality Standard requirements, which will include invigilating examinations.
You will provide participant feedback on their progress / development and utilise the wider Into Work Advice Service for participants to receive further support.
What We Are Looking For From You
Previous experience of delivering basic skills (numeracy and literacy).
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to differing situations. You will have the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner. You will work well in a team and be adaptable to cover new topics when required.
You will have to travel across the city to deliver training at set times. Location of work will differ every day.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.

This post is temporary until 31/03/2025.
This post is part time and will work 18.5 hours per week. The pro-rata salary is £14,888 per annum.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
Evening and/or weekend working may be required.
