We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to join our fantastic Physio and MSK team at the Munro Unit St Richards Hospital.
The post working days would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-3.15pm with a Wednesday off.
The Coastal Sussex Integrated MSK services (CSIMS) administration team are looking for a part-time administrator to join the Reception Team. The post will require a flexible approach as the successful candidate may be asked to assist in Bognor Reception areas if required.
Working as part of a team to deliver the highest standards of administrative support for patients and staff, You will be meeting and greeting patients, data inputting, making follow up appointments, amending appointments, completing DNA’s’ (did not attend) letters to patients/GP surgeries, responding to telephone enquiries, use of office equipment, scanner/printer/photocopier.
The post holder will represent Coastal Sussex Integrated MSK services (CSIMS) by acting as the first point of contact to anyone visiting or contacting the service, dealing with enquiries and appointment requests .
Computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential. Training will be provided on the in house computer systems, knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage as would previous experience in the NHS.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working to promote patient centred care.
You will need to demonstrate good communication skills, be enthusiastic and energetic and have proven interpersonal skills. Excellent IT skills and the ability to prioritise your workload is essential.

Main responsibilities
To provide reception duties for the CSIM services.
Reception sites include:
Physiotherapy department, Munro Unit St Richards Hospital.
Outpatient physiotherapy and MSK reception, Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital
Rheumatology and Pain reception, Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital
Main tasks
Provide a reception service for patients attending the clinics.
Marking the arrival of patients to their appointments
Complete SystmOne tasks
Process DNA’s (Did Not Attend)
Open and Close receptions
Process friends and family questionnaires
Update USB stick daily for clinic information
Scan and attach clinical information
Process generic emails
Book, amend and cancel patient appointments using the computer based booking system SystmOne.
Contact transport when patients are ready for returning home
Deal with enquires from patients or staff using various communication methods such as telephone, messaging and written.
Communicate clearly and effectively with other professionals, outside agencies and patients.
Ensure patient information remains confidential and that patient records and the reception areas are secure to assure confidentiality.
Update and amend patient details as necessary.
Take responsibility for liaising with professional colleagues to avoid unnecessary delays in patient care.
In times of staffing need, to work at other sites.
To carry out other duties which fall within the remit of this post as required by the Reception Team Lead.
To contribute to the development of administration services to improve efficiency and productivity.
